Caitlin Fisher

I am a recent graduate from the UBC Creative Writing Program, with a focus on Children's and YA fiction and Non-Fiction Profile writing.

I absolutely love working with kids and teens and volunteer as a Youth group leader for pre-teens in grades 5-7. While finishing my degree I have been working as a nanny in North Vancouver to allow for time for my writing and volunteer activities. My time as a nanny has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of children ages 2 weeks thru to 16 years old and experience working with children with Aspergers, autism, speech delay, and physical development issues. I also have over 10 years of experience with the set-up and management of summer camps.

I was a Vice President of a UBC sorority for two years which has given me extensive knowledge in large-scale event planning and management, creating educational programming, budget management, as well as ample fundraising experience (attaining sponsors and donations).
