I think a lot about pop culture-- why it's dangerous, why it's brilliant, and how to encourage youth to be thoughtful about the media they see everyday.

Right now, I work at Westside Neighborhood School. Formerly at Big Picture Instructional Design, the Media Education Lab, and AOL.

I'm a proud member of NAMLE and I hope one day I can present at a media literacy or digital learning conference. Of course, I am still finding my footing. I want to teach media to teenagers at an innovative, progressive school.
