I developed an obsession with brands at a young age. I became a brand advocate for Nike in 3rd grade, talking to my peers on the playground about their new Jordans, Huaraches, my 180's and the need for girl's sneakers that are worth getting excited about. I refused to wear imitated Spumoni, had to have Russ troll dolls and when my mom bought me fake crayons I threw a tantrum because they weren't Crayola. How was I expected to work with that 'tinted wax'? You best believe the cork in my Birkenstocks was real, my backpack was Jansport and my rollerblades were Rollerblade. 'Knock-offs have no soul' should've been the bumper sticker on my bike.

I assure you the tantrums stopped years ago and I am not a snob or shopaholic, I am just inspired by quality, innovation and authenticity. When a brand grabs me, I'm hooked. Now I get to build brands that matter to people and I love it.
