Caitlinn Riedell

Hello! I am a junior public relations major at Quinnipiac University with a general business minor. I bring my confidence and work ethic with me where ever I go. I was a hostess at a local restaurant for a long time and I made sure that I greeted each person who walked in, and made sure they had a great experience on the way out. It taught me how to be proficient and work on my feet for long hours. When I knew the restaurant needed extra hands to clear tables I made the most of my time there when the reservations were complete.

I had a great experience this past summer working as a communications intern for Teva Pharmaceuticals. It gave me a new incite and excitement for me as I realized I am in the right major and I have the skills to do be great at it. I am skillful with Microsoft word, Powerpoint, Excel and dealing with social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. I provided Teva with new ways to promote their products and events through social media. I used my writing skills to draft press releases for upcoming launches of new products. I even got to write articles for Teva's intranet. It was a great experience overall and has given me even more of a drive to give my best everyday in the classroom. I know what I see myself doing in the near future and I am excited to continue making more accomplishments.

I am a driven hard worker and I play on the Division I Women's Lacrosse team. I bring my dedication, passion, and strength with me anywhere I go and I am looking forward to what opportunities will be available in the near future.
