Caitlin-Aly Thomas

My name is Caitlin Alysabeth Thomas. I was born in Norfolk, Virginia. I'm an actress, writer, activist, student, poet, exotic dancer, etc.

I'm currently writing my first book, and shopping around publishing companies, secretly hoping someone will see some gold in me. When I'm not writing, I'm at the University of Nevada-Reno, double majoring in Women Studies and Theater. Oh, and sometimes English. I guess I can't really decide what I want a degree in, so I'm just going to take it all.

I have a wicked interest in dance and acting. I sometimes model for the fun of taking interesting, profound pictures. I have an intense love for film, always have. I spent a summer in LA, attending Film Camp. Haven't looked back since.

I consider myself a bit of an activist for feminism, sexuality, and reproductive rights (fueled by my own experience). I'm obsessed with Sasha Grey. I adore the idea of a women having equal sexual power as men. I'm also in the middle of starting UNR's first alternative publication, focusing on LGBT and Women's issues. This project is called, "The Hound."

I'm currently the University's sex columnist as well.

Below you'll find media that has been published about my passions and projects. From the Reno News and Review, all the way to Louisiana. I feel it's important to have a loud enough voice. I don't limit myself, I need to be heard all over the map.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't planning on taking over the world.
