Caitlynn Fairbarns

Caitlynn Fairbarns is a Toronto based photographer from Kingston Ontario with a young and fresh, yet informed take on Photography.

From a young age, Caitlynn's natural talent and creativity were evident. At the age 15 her love of art was refined with an introduction to the lens as Caitlynn began finding beauty all around her with the help of a camera. Her strong eye and work ethic did not go without notice. Shortly after graduating high school, Caitlynn was offered an internship with Ireland's premiere music publication, Hot Press Magazine.

The two-month internship gave Caitlynn the glimpse into the industry that decided her future for her. Her time with Hot Press gave Caitlynn real-world experience and realistic expectations. Through the internship, Caitlynn had the opportunity to work with many great musicians and bands including:

Ollie Cole, David Turpin, Steve Fanning of the Last Tycoons, The Spikes, Marsha Hunt, and Jack L among others.

Following the internship, Caitlynn returned to her hometown of Kingston, ON and continued working with local bands and entertainers, as well as working at Kingston's Pampered Kitty Private Spa as an event photographer.

Caitlynn is currently pursuing further education at OCAD University as well as working as a freelance photographer.
