Caity-Shea Violette is a nationally recognized writer and actor based in Chicago, IL. She holds BFA in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting and Writing from the University of Minnesota- Duluth and graduated from the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists in 2009. Caity-Shea is currently working as a full-time Video Scriptwriter for industrial films with Sears Holdings in their corporate office in Hoffman Estates, IL.

As both an actor and playwright, Caity-Shea's work has been seen in such cities as Washington D.C., Las Vegas, Minneapolis and Chicago. Caity-Shea graduated from the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists in 2009. She has worked with such companies as: Children's Theatre Company, The Gift Theatre, Halcyon Theatre, Stage 2 Theatre Company.Caity-Shea is exceptionally passionate about creating new work to connect with the community and getting more women on the stage and page. When not writing or performing, Caity-Shea is a nationally certified Yoga instructor and a kitten enthusiast.
