The incredible services available at the SeaTac Airport
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), or SeaTac, is the leading international airport serving western Washington. SeaTac airport is located approximately 13 miles south of downtown Seattle, along the I-5 corridor. Over 30 airlines serve the SeaTac airport with flights traveling non-stop to over a hundred destinations. The airport is also ranked the 28th busiest airport in the world, handling over 45 million travelers each year. It is an accessible airport for incoming and outgoing flights for Asia and Europe, as well as destinations all over the United States.
The Main Terminal at the SeaTac airport leads directly back to the Central Terminal, where one can find restaurants and stores after passing through security. Concourses A, B, C, and D are all accessible from the Central Terminal. The airport also has two satellite buildings, which they refer to as the North and South Satellites. These terminals are connected to the central terminal by continuously-running underground loop trains.
The airport also features Wi-Fi, which is free throughout the airport, and while it isn't incredibly fast, it's mostly reliable. There is also a play area for kids at the intersection of the A and B concourses. That play area also features a “mother’s room” for quiet time or nursing. SeaTac airport has multiple “nursing suites”—more like little pods—located throughout the airport to provide a little privacy. The airport also has the King County Library System, which has free eBook kiosks set up in concourses A and D. To find new details on seatac airport please Click Here.
One can park in both short- and long-term parking right at SeaTac. Except on the very busiest travel days of the year, there is usually ample, but expensive, parking at SeaTac's parking garage. Paying for parking is conducted through automated machines that take cash, debit, or credit cards. For short-term parking, there is no better way to go. For multi-day parking, one can save money by parking at a remote airport parking lot.
