Caleb Maltsberger

I am a 26 year old currently residing in Portland, OR. My passion and most of my free time are devoted to the arts. "Add to cart" is not the type of art I make. When I am inspired, great creations come from my soul and find home on the canvas.

Born and raised in Tukwila, WA. My father was a postman, and my mother was a librarian. While growing up the youngest of five I never had the ability to fight for time on the Nintendo. So instead, I spent the time in my imagination. I would create pictures to tell the stories in my dreams visually. Color and abstractions were my friends.

My style has originated from the dream. I have many influences Rothko, Dali, Esher, Picasso, Monet, and Sesshu. Just to name a few. I've found that I create unique works that only find similarity in colors. The viewer will find similarities to there own lives in the Zen doodles I produce. The work lets the viewer peer deep into its surface and realize they are staring into their own soul.

I moved from Tukwila, WA to Portland, OR in 2013. With the goal to further my dreams of being an artist. My wide experience in life has led to a wide variety of art.
