Thanks for stopping by! I'm a fascinating kid, Competitive Sabre Fencer, mentally tough champion in the Y12 Division, & TEAVANA Connoisseur

My dad is about having goals and following dreams, so one day I decided that I would become a championship fencer.

Results have come quickly from hard work, & after three months of training, I won my first championship on 11/12/11 in the Agathos Warrior Sabre Open 2011, where I captured a 1st place victory in the Y10 Mixed Sabre Division. I then finished 21st at the US Fencing North American Cup.

What I've learned as a student of Cheney Fencing, is to set my heart on a vision, practice, and be tenacious. My new goal is to apply the same approach to become a champion of education, compete with the US Olympic Sabre Fencing Team, and lead Vanderbilt University to win a Division 1 Sabre Fencing Championship in 2021.

My family is pretty amazing. Mom chose to stay home and raise my sister and I, and volunteer at our Classical Christian school. She was so good that they hired her as a first grade teacher. I'm learning how blessed I am to have the support of my family, teachers, coaches, and friends at school.

Dad is working with me to help create a life of opportunity where I do all the work and achieve results. Having a head start in life is a great thing, but it's not as easy as it looks. He loves to build relationships, help people, and is working to help the US Olympic Committee generate sponsorship opportunities in Middle Tennessee. (USOC budget is $500M annually)

My sister is a great girl. She teaches me a lot about overcoming adversity which she has done since a baby. Like most girls she loves ballet and even plays piano.

Last thing I want to share is about my Me'ma Polly Humphreys. She and dad own a sports training company called Backbone Builder "the science of mental toughness". They work with High School and NCAA Athletic Directors, Coaches, and Athletes.

May your dreams also come true.

Caleb
