I was raised in the Ottawa Valley, "matured" in the Rocky Mountains, and traveled through Central America. An avid snowboarder, paddler, naturalist and all-round lover of anything outdoors. Always prepared for the next adventure, because you never know...

I currently live along the banks of the Ottawa River next to some of the world's best whitewater paddling. When I'm not down by the river I can be found in class pursuing a technical diploma as an environmental technician.

My life as a river guide and snowboarder has solidified an already deep connection to nature. As my passion for the wilderness grows so to has my concern for the impact our collective activities have on the planet we share. This fervor has combined with education to advance my life in a new direction. I seek to become more involved in preserving our natural world through sustainable resource management. My time guiding has enlightened me to the power of nature through exposure and education. It's really very simple- turn off the cell phone, get away from the TV screen and go outside.
