About Calmerra

Calmerra started as an online art gallery in July 2018. We started on Tumblr and since July we have been posting art on a daily basis. We received positive feedback and encouragement from the Tumblr community, so In September we started our Instagram page and began to experiment with not just classical art, but with modern art as well.

Most of the art is in the public domain, so any artwork you see with the tag [Public Domain] is free to use on your own site. For modern artworks, you will need to contact the respective artist for permissions for further use. Artists are always credited in the caption/description.

Our Goal

Our main focus is now on launching calmerra.com, a social art-platform, where artists and art enthusiasts will be able to share and discover all sorts of artworks, with many great features, like:

*Personalizing your profile and homepage to fit your likings

*Setting up your own shop, or buying and selling commissions on your profile page with ease

*Art spotlights showcasing the best artworks of the day, week and month, and many, MANY more features!

The project is colossal and requires money and time to build, so we expect calmerra.com won't launch before 2020.
