Hello, my name is Calvin Hamel, I am 19 years old and living in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

My Highschool education started and was completed in Gordon Bell High School, and I recieved three awards during that time: in 2009, when I was in grade 10, I recieved an award in Graphic Design for creating the design for the Gordon Bell Performing Arts t-shirts. In 2010, Grade 11, I recieved the Business Ed and Computer Award. And in 2011 I designed the Graduation T-shirts.

Also during my highschool years, I was part of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, which I stayed part of for 5 years. While I was a cadet, I took summer courses in Basic Training (2006), Intro to Survival (2007), Into to Aerospace (2008), BATA staff (2010).

Unrelated to high school, through the Air Cadets program I recieved the Silver Duke of Edinbourough award in 2008, having gotten the bronze one year earlier.

Currently I work at Prarie Research Associates, a phone survey company based in Winnipeg

Other things of note that I have done are working as a groundskeeper for a daycare in 2011, I helped at a Sunday School from 2008-2009, and in 2000 I helped set up and run a Museum Art showing at the St. James Museum.
