Cam Wilson

Valdosta, Georgia, United States

Hi guys I Cam short for Camille Wilson.
I’m a sophomore here at Valdosta State University.
I have a amazing passion for music and poetry. Not only listening to it, but the creation of it, playing it, editing it, anything that has to do with the process of expressing yourself through worlds is what I really love. You’re probably never going to see me without your phone in my ear or a phone playing music in my hand.
I was born in Greensboro North Carolina and moved south to Georgia when I was one. I was eight, when my mother got remarried to Sylvester, and had three kids. I am the oldest child in my household by ten years; yes I did say ten years! I have two wonderful baby sisters named Olivia, who is ten, and Tessa, who is six. The newest addition to our family is Maxwell Cole who just turned one in December. In addition to that I also have two stepsiblings Shomari and Lorenzo that live in Miami Florida with my father Thomas and stepmother Marsha. During the summers I often spend summers and long holidays with them. In high school I was involved in many activities such as yearbook, cheerleading, track and football managing. I graduated in 2013 in a class of three hundred and fifty.
When I graduated I decided to go to Valdosta State University for athletic training. As I went through my first freshman year of college I soon realized that that focus was not for me. Although I love sports and medicine the mix just wasn’t what I thought it would be. So I decided to change my major to Undecided, but continuing to take classes that over lap through medicine and physical therapy.
In the beginning of my freshman year, my family told me to be careful whom I hang out with because in college you meet friends for life. I never believed them until I started to meet my current friends. Aquala, Brice, Jazz, Whitney, and Ticaro. I met Aquala, Q, when we became roommate’s freshman year. Next I met Ticaro, Aquala’s brother, but also who I considered to be my best guy friend. Then I met her cousin Bryce who introduced me to Jazz whom he had know over summer. While I was in my classes for athletic training I met one of my best friends Whitney, she sits next me in English. I never truly understood what friends where until I met these five people we literally fight like cats and dogs but protect each other like lions and tigers. We all hold specific characteristics that unorthodoxly fit it together like an abstract puzzle piece.
