Our Vision
Camara Ireland is a social enterprise that aims to reform the current education system, and empower educators in disadvantaged and under resourced communities to provide world class education to all.
Camara operates as a social enterprise and aims to deliver high quality education through technology and training to schools, community groups and any other organisation with an education focus that is working with disadvantaged and under resourced communities. Camara Ireland sources its computers from Camara's computer reuse operation.
How We Do it
Camara Ireland uses refurbished computers to supply disadvantaged schools with cost efficient ICT resources. Teachers, Government and independent bodies have all cited training as key to the effective use of ICT in schools. As part of our package, Camara training programs, aimed at teachers, focusing on the effective use of computers as learning tools.
