Hello, I’m Cameron! Born and raised in Texas, my wife and I moved to Colorado in the summer of 2022 and couldn't be happier living up here in the mountains!

I love to disc golf, and just started playing competitive tournaments around Colorado this year! It's such a fun way to get outside and as I've heard others put say, “it's just hiking with a purpose!” My wife and I enjoy traveling the world, seeing all the different places and cultures have to offer. One of my life's goals, instilled from a young age traveling with my family, is to see all of the national parks in the country - 27 down so far!

We adopted a dog at the start of 2023, a wonderful mutt named Missy, and she's just been absolute joy! She's a total sweetheart and a great companion both laying around at home and out on the disc golf course.

The hobby with the longest staying power in my life has definitely been photography. I got into it by taking yearbook in high school, and it's stuck with me since! I love getting outside and seeing what I can find, both landscapes and the flora/fauna all around us. My main camera(s) are Sony, but I'm a gadget guy and therefore have way too many other fun photo/video toys, like a drone and a selection of GoPros.

On the professional side of life I'm a UX Researcher with over a decade of experience working with some of the biggest companies around. I spent the first 8 years in the field working for Usability Sciences, the best opportunity I could have asked for! I got to work with the likes of Disney, Walmart, FedEx, Discover, and more helping to improve their sites, apps, and products. Most of the time that was lab-based usability testing, but we also got out into the field whenever we could (like testing Disney's app in DisneyWorld).

Currently working for Sabre, where I've spent the last 2 years helping improve travel systems and experiences for people around the globe! It's been a world of new experiences, where instead of living the consultant life I've gotten to be more embedded into the design process, working day in and day out with product and design teams from inception to final product. I've also gotten to branch out with new types of user research like building new personas, running workshops (both with internal stakeholders and external customers), and large scale surveys with travelers around the world.
