Cam Harvey

Campbell R. Harvey is Investment Strategy Advisor to the Man Group in London. He is also a finance professor at Duke University and a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He served as Editor of The Journal of Finance from 2006-2012.

Professor Harvey obtained his doctorate at the University of Chicago in Business Finance. He has published over 125 scholarly articles on the implications of changing risk and the dynamics of risk premiums for quantitative investment strategies. Harvey is a Founding Director of the quarterly Duke-CFO Survey. This widely watched survey polls over 1,000 CFOs worldwide.

Harvey is the author of the blog, GardenofEcon.com. His 8,000 word Financial Glossary is used by the New York Times, Yahoo, Forbes and CNNMoney. He just launched the iPad/iPhone versions of his glossary.
