I am a Bioinformatic Engineer at Universidad de Talca. I am PhD(c) in Applied Sciences student at Universidad de Talca. Currently, I am part of a developer group working on an automatic detection tool of electrical penetration signals used to study feeding pattern of insects such as aphids, thrips, and leafhoppers against plants. In another research line. Currently, I'm working on my doctoral thesis in which using computational and experimental methods antiplatelet effect of some natural compounds are evaluated. In parallel, 3 proteins (A2A, PDE3A and PPARgamma) is studied, these systems are expressed in platelets (small organelles involved in the formation of thrombi) and its activation or inhibition regulate cAMP levels in platelets, preventing disease cardiovascular by inactivating these.
