Camilla Galli da Bino
I come from Milan in Italy, and am Research Information Officer in the Working Conditions and Industrial Relations unit at Eurofound, a tripartite EU agency based in Dublin, celebrating 40 years of activities in 2015. Eurofound was established in 1975 to contribute to the planning and design of better living and working conditions. It carries out its role in partnership with governments, employers, trade unions and the EU institutions.
My responsibilities lie mainly within the recently-established European Observatory of Working Life (EurWORK), the result of a merger of previous long-running Eurofound observatories: the European Industrial Relations Observatory (EIRO), set up in 1997, and the European Working Conditions Observatory (EWCO) in operation since 2003.I apply my skills in Anthropology, Communication, Journalism and Audio-visual production to the range of EurWORK products and information resources, in particular their quality and promotion.
Amongst my responsibilities are the Working Life Country Profiles, a set of reports for all the EU countries and Norway, providing regularly updated information on industrial relations and working conditions data and provisions. I play an active part in promoting EurWORK at international conferences, events and on social media and contribute regularly to Eurofound and other relevant publications.
