Camille Garcia

Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines

Compelled by fresh inspired ideas and with an exacting approach to proportion and fit, Camille Garcia Cruz creates a bridal couture aesthetic that is distinctively refined and polished. She believes a bridal gown must be a revelation of the bride’s natural beauty, never to distract from the woman wearing it. Instinctively inclined to soft fluid feminine designs, she likes to experiment with fresh clean cuts, delicate pleats, intricate lacework, tulle and organza. She is an avid traveler and finds cultural experiences a thoroughly enriching source of inspiration.

Camille began sketching early on even before learning to write. Throughout her childhood and teenage years, she has taken up several art and painting lessons, including lessons under esteemed Filipino Painter Fernando Sena. She initially graduated with a BS Management degree from the Ateneo De Manila University before pursuing a dream in fashion design. Unsatisfied and restless, she pursued a Professional Designation Degree in FIDM (Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) alma mater of Monique Lhuillier in San Francisco, California and graduated Magna Cum Laude in the fall of 2007. Her Bridal Boutique found it’s home at the Glass Garden Events Venue, Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines in 2010. A blushing bride herself, she got married last March 10, 2013 and now has a baby girl.
