I am a Safety, Health and Risk Management Specialist and Occupational Therapist providing consulting services to the Oil & Gas, Mining and Construction industries. Previous roles include Corporate HSE, Operational Health and Safety, Site Based Safety Leadership, Decommissioning and Risk Management (including Process Safety) roles on world class projects operated by industry leaders including Chevron, BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto.
I am based in Perth, Western Australia
I am interested in and available for corporate, onsite, interstate and international projects and roles.
Experience and Skills: Risk management, process safety, incident investigation, auditing, training & assessment, safety management systems, site based safety leadership, fatality prevention/material risk management, data analysis, project management, behavioural based safety, human factors, ergonomics, health promotion and injury management.
Raised and educated in mining communities I am passionate about the health, safety and well being of everyone who works in the industry. I believe wholeheartedly that everyone has the right to return home from work unharmed every day and this belief is reflected in my commitment to my role.
In addition to HSE I am highly passionate about increasing opportunities for women in the resources sector and encouraging women to consider and pursue careers in non traditional industries and roles. I am was a member of the Chevron Women's Network committee and support Women in Oil and Gas. I am looking for opportunities to increase my involvement in this area and ultimately aim to develop skills in leadership and governance.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with family and friends, singing, reading and cooking.
