Camille Calabrese Attorney Illinois

Based in Chicago, Illinois, Camille Calabrese serves as an attorney with the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender. Known for her trial advocacy, she has handled a wide variety of felony cases, including homicide, racketeering, sexual assault, narcotics and weapons charges. Her experience includes working extensively with investigators and expert witnesses.

For the last decade, Ms. Calabrese has held an activist role in police reform as board member with the Chicago Justice Project. This pioneering initiative focuses on collecting and tracking data of police misconduct and has been instrumental in driving changes that are currently being implemented under a Federal Consent Decree.

Ms. Calabrese completed her JD at the John Marshall Law School and graduated with honors. She has often served as a volunteer judge with the annual ABA National Trial Advocacy Competition hosted at John Marshall Law School Chicago, and was on the adjunct faculty list of her alma mater in the area of trial advocacy.
