There are plenty of people that see football as just a sport, and to the average fan, this may be what it seems like. It is not until you play the sport that you realize it is much deeper than just football. I see football as a teacher just like the one in front of the class every day. It teaches you many lessons that you can not learn in any classroom. These lessons not only teach you how to be a better human but to be a great functioning member of society. These things bring you success in your personal life, and in your workplace also. We have to learn how to work together as a team and every person has to do their job no matter how little or how big it is. This is important because collaboration is a very valuable tool for any job that will ever want to hire you. It also teaches selfish boys how to be selfless men. There comes a point in time for a man where someone else is going to matter more than them. Football teaches that because the team is greater than one individual. There are many days where I do not feel like going to workouts r practice, but when I get to that facility I see my teammate, and I work hard because I know it is not only going to make me better but it will make him better and that will make the whole team better. Football builds men who become great brothers and fathers.
