Cammie Hardouin
Library Professional in Eden Prairie, MN
Hi there, I’m Cammie Hardouin (pronounced ‘cA-mee / ’hard-win), and my preferred pronouns are she/her. I have library experience in acquisitions, customer service, and cataloging at various institutions, including AFI, LAPL, Loyola Marymount University, Long Beach City College, Pepperdine University and St. John’s Seminary. As afirst-follower(or paraprofessional), I have implemented new technologies, documented procedures, provided customer service, and led small teams/working groups. By mastering these skills I created sustainable produce exchanges, gardening lecture series and seed libraries with master gardeners. My current role is co-chair of the Minnesota Library Association student roundtable. I hope to intern with Hennepin County, cultural heritage organizations or academic libraries in 2024/25.
My research interests include community movements, technology, leadership and environmental ethics. Above all, I support intellectual freedom and inclusivity. Check out my portfolio and resume if you’re interested.
