Amanda Campbell
Student in Athens, Georgia
Hi! I’m Amanda and I’m constantly confused. I’m probably the last to get the punch line of the joke and always the first to ask questions in class. Although sometimes it is frustrating to be in a whirlwind of confusion, in turn it has shaped me into the individual I am today. I was extremely curious as a child and that has stayed with me. I’ve always wanted to know “why.” I love to read and write—both help me on my path to discovery. I am absolutely obsessed with personality tests, Myers Briggs and Enneagram, because in my mind, they unlock the key to people. I’m an ESTJ-A and a type 8 enneagram, by the way. I am able to understand why I do the things I do and why the people around me do the things they do. That’s fascinating to me. I used to want to be a sociology professor, but I decided that was probably not the most lucrative career for me. Rather, I decided to major in public relations and I am planning on minoring in public health. Ideally, I'd love to use my voice to help improve the health of women and children in developing countries.
