Amy Campbell

Ottawa, ON

My name is Amy Campbell and I come from Glengarry county, Ontario, where I grew up on the family farm. I spent much of my teenage life competing with my horses and working to provide money to fund that passion of mine. I've since moved to Ottawa, where I'm in my second year of Algonquin College's business management and entrepreneurship program.

I chose to study business management because I wasn't sure what my next step should be after highschool. I knew that I wanted to be self sufficient, and enrolling in this program was the first step in that direction. I spent this past summer as a trail guide in Lake Louise, Alberta, where I guided tours on horseback to the various teahouses and destinations that are nestled in the Rockies. The picture on this card is one that I took of Lake Agnes.

I am currently employed at Campus Living Centres (CLC). My role as a Resident Advisor is to provide support to students, direct them to the services they might need and complete a certain criteria of programming. My favourite parts about my job are that it is always challenging, and it changes daily.

In the future I would like to open my own business, I'm just trying to experience life as much as I can until inspiration strikes me.
