Camp White Pine
Situated in the Haliburton Highlands of central Ontario, Camp White Pine has hosted thousands of boys and girls from around the world, each summer for nearly 60 years. The camp boasts a 1600-acre site with a calming view of its own private lake and ample space to cater for its variety of fun and skill-building pursuits. White Pine accepts children aged between seven and 16 years and offers activities that will suit any personality or proclivity- from rock climbing to theater, kayaking to pottery. Campers are separated by age into six sections and are put under the charge of a supervisor with specialized training on that age group.
Armed with experience in children’s camping and social work, Joe Kronick founded Camp White Pine in 1956. Building upon a philosophy of small group living and non-competition, Joe turned a former fishing lodge into a place where memories were created and lifelong friendships made. Though Joe handed over management of the camp to his son Adam in 1985, he can still be found watching over the happy campers at White Pine today.
