Camryn Hansen
Student, Filmmaker, and Photographer in Royse City, Tx
My name is Camryn and I graduated from Royse City High School in 2022/2023. While in high school, I focused on an English literature career field. I want to produce something that is life-changing for a stranger and need your help to create it. I would love to contact you or set a meeting to publish something for the greater good.
Education and its properties in the eyes of a current student are not the greatest, but looking back, school and all the things tied into it have helped create the person that I am now. We grow up constantly saying that most things taught to us aren't as useful as other topics needed. I agree with that statement to an extent, but many things we “naturally” learned were most likely figured out through schooling. From knowing how to handle stressful situations to simply basic communication skills were all things I learned during my years in high school. Without education, the everyday life we know now would be completely different. The education system prepared me to be used to the chaotic foreground and still be able to function as a normal human being. Many people take education for granted but never realize that certain “miss-fortune” most people have, had actually made their life ten times easier just from basic observations.
The term “work ethic” in my mind means the idea of truly working hard to get the same in return. I was taught from a young age to not put in half effort and expect to be fully reworded. This gave me a sturdy mindset from my past workplaces because if I wanted to be paid one-hundred percent of my paycheck, I would have to put in one-hundred percent of my effort as well. Work ethic is affected by co-workers as well. If one person doesn't believe in putting effort into something then others will notice and either dislike it or follow in their footsteps. Work ethic is used in your part-time and full-time careers and should matter equally in both.
I want to create a solid platform from which to start building up. To do that I want to receive a bachelor's degree in English literature. Skills I would love to learn are how to be comfortable with public speaking.
