Candice Taylor was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts. She began her dance training in high school at Boston Arts Academy at age fifteen, where she trained in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz. It was at Boston Arts Academy where she found her love for choreography. During her senior year she choreographed a group piece and received a choreographic award from the dance department. In high school she worked with choreographers such as John Layer, Kirven J. Boyd, and Fernadina Chan. She then attended Dean College where she will obtain her bachelors of arts and associates in psychology. While attending Dean College she trained in Modern, Contemporary, Tap, and Jazz and worked with choreographers such as Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp, Julianne O’Brien Pedersen, Dolin Foreman. Recently she has been performing in the Boston area including Ten Tiny Dances at The Dance Complex. Currently Candice is co-choreographing a piece for the New Student Showcase at her school. She also desires to choreograph a piece for the Choreographers Concert show in the spring.
