CANDACE MORALES

Ambitious, intelligent and sociable are just a few words to describe Candace Morales, an aspiring national TV show host.
As a little girl, Morales fantasized about becoming an actress, but quickly fell in love with the idea of being a host after taking journalism and TV production classes in high school. It was then that she decided to major in communications and minor in film studies at Salem State University.
Since then, Morales has interned as a radio co-host for HOT97BOSTON. She has also interned as a studio production assistant at Boston Neighborhood Network (BNN), where she assisted in the production of over 100 shows, by directing, operating cameras, acting as a floor manager, creating studio sets and controlling audio.
Morales went on to be one of three hosts for BNN’s talk show Girls and Guys, a television talk show about life from a young perspective. Featured guests included New Edition and New Kids on the Block’s founder Maurice Starr, relationship specialists, and various musical performers.
For three seasons, she was the director of Loud Minds TV - a talk show that works to acknowledge and shed light on Boston based businesses and individuals that are often overlooked. After witnessing her dedication and realizing her potential, the producer and host of the show brought Morales on as his co-host.
"I know that with my qualities and my voice I can make a difference. I can influence people to be better, and I can do great things in the world,” said Morales.
She knows where she came from, and because of that she knows exactly where she’s going. She hopes to someday use her knowledge and skills to better the Boston communities in which she grew up.
Morales is excited about her future and is very grateful to God for all He has done, and all He has in store for her. She puts no limitations on what she can do, and has absolutely no doubts in herself.
