Candace Smyth

I was a small town girl in Alabama. I listened to country music and rode in the back of pick up trucks. I loved it, I hated it. I was married twice. And, divorced. Been there? Yes. I lost both my parents before the age of 40. Know grief? Yes. What about anger? Absolutely. So, what do you do now? I help others solve problems without getting so angry or sad that they can't think straight. I see the legal system in family law as another player, but it should not be. I believe that pre-nuptials, separation agreements and divorces should be metaphysically mediated. I said it. Healing should be a part of every marriage and divorce. From the start. I serve as an Attorney and Family Mediator in Washington, DC. I inspire and practice mindful mediation. I host workshops across the country focusing on restorative yoga, ayurveda analysis and practical support for beautiful humans in the middle of separation or divorce. I mediate virtually and in person. You choose.
