Hi, I’m Candance. I’m a proud mother of two beautiful and active young adults and four fur-babies. Lucky, am I, to have a dream career as a Certified Trade Show and Event Marketer. I love living in Austin, Texas, and enjoy travel. My favorite journey includes a sunset view, the beach, or a lively downtown with culture, music, food of the region, and music.
Of course, I am a fan of Family, Pets, and Events, but I’m also passionate about volunteering. During my battle with Breast Cancer, I became a patient and recipient of services provided by The Breast Cancer Resource Center of Central Texas.
The BCRC mission is “No One Should Face Breast Cancer Alone” and has a staff of six full-time patient navigators that help breast cancer patients fight their battle. The Breast Cancer Resource Center provides a variety of resources and services such as support groups, mammograms, education, financial support, meals, hand-holding, yard work, cleaning services, and infusion room support. Just about anything needed to help breast cancer patients fight their battle with confidence and dignity is what the BCRC and their volunteers provide.
BCRC does not discriminate. Employed or not, insurance or none, citizen or not, any race, any color, any belief, BCRC supports those battling for health and life. I genuinely love our BCRC, all I have met, worked with, and served since I began volunteering in 2015.
