Candette Hammond

Candette Hammond brings a wealth of experience in law enforcement and investigation to her current position as investigator and owner at CNJ Investigations. Before beginning her professional career, Candette Hammond attended Riverside Community College and San Bernardino Valley College, where she pursued a range of academic interests.

In 1985, Ms. Hammond initiated an 11-year period as a police officer with the Fontana Police Department (FDP) in California. In this role, she expanded her skills as part of the primary response unit and as a follow-up investigator. She also performed crime scene processing, from proper collection and maintenance of evidence to the development of latent prints.

After leaving the FPD in 1996, Candette Hammond developed her career in investigation in roles of increasing responsibility throughout the following years. Beginning as an investigator with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office Felony Panel, she soon transitioned into such departments as Domestic Violence and Child Abduction.

More recently, Candette Hammond served as Senior Investigator III in Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. Before retiring honorably in 2009 to form CNJ Investigations, she helped to build and lead the office’s SAFE task force.
