Candice Oyer

I am an energetic home goods and activewear designer. I believe design should have a purpose and help implement topics you believe in. I believe in a healthy lifestyle, eating right and exercise. I hope my apron designs will inspire people to open up their recipe books and get cooking at home. I also hope my design approach of using bright bold colors, fun patterns and unique designs will allow people to feel safe and fashionable on the road in my reflective activewear.

I currently run my business, Type-O by CEO, from Somerville, MA. I do everything from sourcing materials, CAD design, pattern making to working directly with my fabric cutter and production house in Lowell MA. I keep a great business relationship with the stores that sell my product and I am always researching ways to grow my business relationships.

When I am not building my business, I am often supporting the Boston Area Gleaners, Inc (BAG) and their mission to rescue surplus farm crops and deliver the produce to food pantries and shelters. I am a volunteer and board member at BAG, but I am also an artist who hand weaves photographs together to create a unique visual that directly relates to the organization's work. I also love to be in nature and go hiking and camping in the White Mountains and Mt. Desert Island, Me. with friends and family.
