Candice Jagnandan

Candice Jagnandan is an Elementary Occasional Teacher in Toronto, Ontario.

She currently works for different school boards, providing coverage in classrooms from Kindergarten to Grade 8 and interacting with the diverse students and educators living in the Toronto area.

Candice’s teaching philosophy is simple - our students come first. Staying true to this outlook, Candice is always pushing herself further to develop relationships with students and remain connected to their ever-changing world. She strives to construct relevant lessons that not only engage, but empower students as well.

One of Candice's long-term goals is to teach and grow alongside students in her own classroom. She uses each day as an OT visiting a variety of classrooms and schools as an opportunity to learn and build upon her teaching toolbox in preparation for her own class.

In her spare time, Candice unashamedly watches Netflix for always just a little too long, seeks out new fantasy novels to read, and eats copious amounts of chocolate between intermittent gym sessions.
