Candice L`Ecuyer
Eudora, Kansas
With one semester left at the University of Kansas, my goal is now to continue to synthesize what I have learned in my Geography Undergraduate career to the internships I have had in the professional environment. In addition to applying skills learned, I am acting president of the Undergraduate Geography Club at KU, where I am collaborating with faculty and students to empower other members with the skills and confidence they need to feel successful upon their graduation from KU. In Spring 2014, I traveled to Costa Rica through a Preparing for International Careers course, which helped teach me what it means to have an international career. Aside from the two internships I have completed with Esri and Spatial Data Research, I currently work part time in the Geography department at KU as an office assistant and a curriculum mapping student assistant.
Outside of school, I enjoy volunteering in our local community, running, and spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our two dogs.
