Candice McDonald is a volunteer firefighter/EMT with the Winona Fire Department and Stark FDRU in Ohio. She is also a member of the Cumberland Valley Volunteer Firemen’s Association Reputation Management Committee and ResponderSafety.com outreach team. Another organization she passionately serves is the National Volunteer Fire Council. For the NVFC, she has served as the appointed Fire Corps State Advocate for Ohio and in other capacities as called upon since 2009. She works full-time for Kent State University as the program coordinator for the Research Center for Educational Technology. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in human services with a specialty in disaster, crisis, and intervention. She holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership, a bachelor’s in business administration, and associate’s in health and human services. She is a contributing author to numerous publications and has traveled the country for the past fifteen years empowering individuals and organizations.
