I have reached that point in my life when I have to begin to accept the fact that I will soon be middle-aged. But I don't feel middle-aged. I feel like a snappy mom ready to go on field trips, outings to the local state park for hiking, or just put in my favorite ballet dvd and stretch on my barre.

I have two lovely daughters that keep me very busy. Drama and angst seem to go hand in hand with puberty in our gene pool. I have an overworked husband who is still a bit baffled by all the "female-ness" that he is surrounded by. (You would think that after 17 years he would have learned to roll with it!)

I love to write and am working part-time as an online writing tutor. I am also a part-time graduate student working towards a degree in Literacy.

I love online communities. I love the plethora of opinions and points of view that are on the net to peruse, enjoy, and engage.
