Hello! My name is Candyce. I reside in Los Angeles, California. I am an ambitious and dedicated entrepreneur. I possess an B.A in English:Language and Linguistics from Cal State Dominguez Hills. In addition, I received my M.A in special education from Grand Canyon University. I have worked in the field of education for over 10 years. Seven of those years have been devoted to special needs students. Working with this population is, both, my gift and my passion. Those experiences, along with a co-worker/friend who believed in me enough to entertain my madness and be my partner, led to the creation of my company, Jewels for Life Consulting Services LLC and the formation of a non-profit, Jewels for Families Inc. These entities represent my love, knowledge and commitment to the field of special education. Quickly establishing myself as an entrepreneur, I was forced to learn to maneuver, not only in the world of education, but also in the world of business. I have learned things about business that was never a concern to me. The most intriguing parts of business to me are networking and marketing. Thanks to a very special sister-friend, I am confident moving within these grounds. A childhood friend and I worked together to build our brands. We attended local evens and networking opportunities. This led us to the creation of Ladilike Hustle Events, LHE. We began to plan and host our own business networking mixers. They do pretty well and are quality events. We realized that we shared a common love and knack for planning business events, or as we call them "hustle events". Now we offer our business event planning services and advice to other professionals. We want to help business owners plan quality brand-building events. This is me, well....professionally at least. I love teaching, I love children, I love networking, and I love who I have become and am becoming!
