Candyce Johnson

I am a teacher educator born and raised in the NYC public school system. With over 20 years of experience in a variety of settings, there is nothing I love more than being a mentor and resource for all teachers, most especially science.

My work is concentrated in culturally responsive, place-based pedagogy, formal-informal learning partnerships, and teacher retention. While that looks like a lot, they're actually all connected. Like us. :)

I have a special affinity for hiking, container gardens, and bunnies.
