Greetings, my name is Steven Cannavale and I am a junior at SUNY New Paltz. I am double majoring in Digital Media Production and Digital Media Management. Additionally, I am minoring in communications. I am actively involved on campus. I am a Resident Advisor in Shawangunk Hall, a Campus Gym Monitor, an intern at the Marketing and Communications office on campus, and the Program Coordinator for my residence hall. I am a hard worker, I am creative, and I am self-driven. I am from Long Island, New York specifically in Huntington. Growing up, I always participated in the arts ( band, choir, theater, art ) and grew my love for it over the years. I wanted to continue that love and appreciation for the arts and make it into a practical career path. So, I stuck to the Media Production and Media Management department when I came to SUNY New Paltz. I want to be able to create and develop pieces of work that I'm proud of and use them for my portfolio in this class. I expect to create most of these pieces through my internship this semester, and from adding projects I’ve worked on in previous semesters.
