Katey Capps
My name is Katey Ann Capps, I am less than a month away from 27 years old. I am one of two (twin), my twin brother's name is Scottie Edward Capps, and he is older than me by one minute. Our birthday falls on August 20, 1985, I was born at 8:41 p.m. Scottie, 8:40 p.m. Our mother was also a twin, her name Melissa Joy Cox, she passed away in 2008, she had a very infected lifestyle and it lead her to an eventual early grave. My father's name is Marc Dana Capps and his parents, (my mimi and papa) raised me and my twin brother, born in Riverside General Hosipital, we moved to Missouri to live on 40 acres with our grandparents, at this time my parents decided to get back together and have a, "love" child, my little brother Avery Mical Capps born on June 1, 1989. Avery lived with my parents in Springfeild while me and my twin stayed on the farm with my grandparents. I had the best childhood. In 1997, my grandparents decided it was time to re join civilization and we moved back to California, I experienced what you would call, "culture shock..." my memory fails me quiet frequently from the age of 13-18, I became very sick when I was 18 and dignosed with Pilniphritisis, (a kenndney infection) while hospitalized, I was informed that I was also 3 months pregnant. Shocked I felt helpless not knowing what I could do to ensure that my baby would be able to have the life every child should. I knew with the life style that I was living that would have never been possible. I decided to go to a convent in San Bernardino, called "Veronica's Home of Mercy." I was there for three years. I had my son a healthy beatiful baby boy, Tommy Landon Capps, named after my grandfather, the only real man in my life, TLC. Tommy now says, "no, Mom, I am Tommy Landon Capps-Mitchell. I alwasy reply with, "thats right baby." After all I do have my father's last name, Capps and my parents were never married. I would have been Katey Ann Cox if I had stayed with my mother's name. Newho Tommy was 8 pounds 6oz 19 1/2 inches, he was born at 9:41 a.m. on a Monday morning. He was the best thing that has ever happend to me and will always be. I was raised also with my uncle Martin who is autistic and duely diganosed with sczkisophrina. Martin is like my brother, I love him dearly and will always be there to help care and provide for him. While I was at VHOM, I recieved my GED and went on to enroll at San Bernardino Valley College, where I recieved my Associates Degree in LiberalArts.
