Amit Kumar joined a leading largest fleet of Offshore Service Vessels (OSVs) marine company "TIDEWATER MARINE INTERNATIONAL INC." Aberdeen as Safety Officer & Marine Auditor in January of 2013. In his position, Amit Kumar is responsible for the Marine Safety training's, ISM & ISPS Audit & Safety Inspections of the Vessels, as well as instructing Captains and officers on board vessel. Amit Kumar does the inspection & verification of implementation of the International Safety Management, Safety Management System of the company & International Ship Port Facility Security on the vessel's and is one of the few, who was successfully trained to handle multiple trade regions such as North America, Asia & Africa.

Prior to his current employment, Amit Kumar began his career as a Marine Deck Officer onboard numerous Heavy Lift Vessels, Bulk vessels, Tanker Vessels & General Cargo Vessels sailing world wide, with over 10 years of experience..

Amit Kumar holds a Bachelor of Nautical Science Degree. In his spare time, he enjoys to listening music and traveling.
