Cara Stephenson-Hunter

Cara Stephenson-Hunter is an avid health and wellness writer and promoter. She received her MPsy in Psychology in 2010 from Walden University and is currently a PhD candidate with a concentration in Health Psychology. She currently works at the New York Children's Health Project as a Special Initiatives Coordinator, where she assists with the development, facilitation and analysis of data from the program’s special initiatives- including obesity prevention, and asthma education. Her work includes curricula development and facilitation of health education groups within the primary care clinic and homeless healthcare settings. Her experience includes co-presenting at the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, co-hosting a national webinar on innovative health promotion practices and contributing author on a qualitative research article in the American Journal of Public Health.
