Cara Buchanan

An avid lifestyle magazine reader and critic of good taste,
it's no question where I'm destined to be. From the top of a Metropolitan
Skyline I see publications waiting for my byline and readers awaiting the
insider take on everything that make this life worth celebrating.

I am currently earning a bachelor's degree in Journalism at
Northern Arizona University, and two minor degrees in Public Relations and
Merchandising. I have a passion of storytelling, whether it is others or my
own, I've learned to admire the journey because often that's where it all
begins.

I am the Buzz-Coordinator for a boutique PR firm, Shine
Factory, located in the Phoenix Valley. I have also worked on NAU student
broadcast, NAZ Today, and been published in The Lumberjack campus newspaper.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "The future belongs to those
who believe in the beauty of their dreams," and that's my mantra. The dream is
my reason for rising in the morning and never looking back - if only to learn
from previous lessons.
