A recent graduate of the University of Connecticut, Cara DeLuca holds a bachelor of arts in Communication and Spanish. In addition to receiving an invitation to join Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association’s official honor society, she was recognized with a Spanish Academic Achievement Award from the Department of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages. Concurrent with her studies, Cara DeLuca served as campus manager with Power Crunch, working together with the district marketing manager and area events manager to organize campus events to promote the brand.

Previously, Ms. DeLuca gained experience as a social media and marketing intern with Murillo Media, where she wrote social media and blog posts in both English and Spanish. She was chosen for the competitive internship from a pool of more than 200 candidates. She also has completed internships with Discover Excursions in Granada, Spain, and with the Brown University School of Public Health. In her free time, Cara DeLuca enjoys hobbies such as fitness training and photography.
