I am a mathematician by training and an educator by trade. I have been teaching mathematics to 11th and 12th grade students for the past five years in a top-rated school district in central Ohio. My favorite class to teach is AP Calculus because the mathematics is challenging, rigorous, and shows us so much about the world around us.
I am currently completing a Data Science certification from Johns Hopkins University via Coursera. Through this course series, I am strengthening my programming and data analysis background. Concurrently, I am actively seeking an entry-level Data Scientist position.
In my spare time, I am a rock climber and Bikram yogi. I listen to heavy metal and play cello. I am the 2015 Pi Day Challenge Genius #10. I love vegan cookies, cats, bowling, and board games.
