Cara Mecabe is currently a full time employee at Yale University in the Conferences & Events department (YC&E) where she is responsible for supporting her supervisor with her academic year and summer clients as well as her own clients. Cara has been working at Yale since January 2016 to provide exceptional customer service to the Yale community as well as external business. Prior to Yale, Cara worked at the Gap for four years where she developed her career passion for customer service and her "yes" mentality.

In May 2016 Cara graduated from Quinnipiac University with a degree in public relations and a minor in marketing. In May 2017 Cara graduated again from Quinnipiac with a Masters in Business Adminstration. While at Quinnipiac Cara immersed herself in volunteer work as Co-Director of Community Action Project and on the Executive Board of The Big Event. Cara is currently enrolled in her last Quinnipiac class, Corporate Reputation Management where she is eager to learn more about crisis manegement. Cara enjoys the thrill of putting items in her cart but never committing to checking out while online shopping.
