Using oils, acrylics, chalks, pastels and inks Cara engages narrative and image to create connections to the world within and around her. Her work delves into mythology, alchemy and animism. She has sold work in both the UK and America and has spent the last two winters painting & drawing in Northern California exploring the rich colours of the Bay painters and the Surrelist work of Remedios Varos and Laura Carrington.
