Carey Strom

Dr. Carey Strom functions as the primary doctor of his private medical practice, the Tower Digestive Health Medical Group. The practice specializes in treating diseases of the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas, including colon cancer screening and the endoscopic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease. Dr. Carey Strom operates out of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and at the highest certified state-of-the-art surgical facility in Beverly Hills, California. Procedures offered by Dr. Carey Strom include colonoscopy, colon polyp screening, and examinations of the entire gastrointestinal tract such as an upper endoscopy, ERCP, and esophageal dilation. The practice accepts most insurance plans and the office will gladly verify coverage.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Carey Strom teaches at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine as an Associate Clinical Professor. In the past, he served as Co-Director for the Endoscopy Unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. An expert in his field, Dr. Strom has appeared as a guest physician on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, on Shape Up Your Life with Marilu Henner, and on KTLA Channel 5. Recognized by fellow Los Angeles doctors as a leader in endoscopy, Dr. Strom has been included in the list of Top Doctors in LA Magazine every year since 2008. The Consumer Research Council of America has named him among Top Physicians every year since 2004. Dr. Carey Strom holds licensure in California, where he currently practices medicine, and in Illinois, where he received his medical degree and fulfilled his internship and residency requirements. He is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. As a luminary in his field, Dr. Carey Strom maintains affiliation with a number of professional organizations, such as the Southern California Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Southern California Society of Gastroenterology, the Los Angeles County Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American Gastroenterologic Association, the American Liver Foundation, and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Strom sits on the Board of Directors and is a Fellow for the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Foundation.
